The feed is capable of removing unwanted airborne and surface radar by utilizing normal waveguide principles to suppress the incoming radar pulses with negligible insertion loss or group delay to the desired 3.7- 4.2 GHz satellite communications band.
The 3742 AWACS feed eliminates the need for external filters, improves EbNo and BER over typical radar suppression applications.
